The UK has now left the EU on 31 January 2020 and EU free movement rules were brought to an end on 31 December 2020. However, the ‘grace period’ begins from 31 December 2020 and lasts until midnight on 30 June 2021, to provide a transition period for EU citizens who are present in the UK by virtue of EU free movement rights to apply under the EU Settlement Scheme to have their rights of residence in the UK.

If you are an EU, EEA, or Swiss citizen, you and your family can apply under EU Settlement Scheme to continue living in the UK after 31 December 2020. You can also apply if you’re a family member of an eligible person of Northern Ireland.

The deadline for applying for most people was 30 June 2021 (which is when the ‘grace period’ ends). You may still apply after the deadline if you have ‘reasonable grounds for not applying by the deadline.

What you will get

If your application is successful, you will either get:

  • Settled status (Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR)) or
  • Pre-settled Status (5 years’ limited leave to remain)

We specialise in all applications under the EU Settlement Scheme and we are committed to preparing the applications to the highest standard. We are passionate about what we do. Our team has an impeccable success rate in submitting applications for EU citizens and their family members. We will talk you through the preparation work and the required documentation to maximise your chances of success.
